Homecoming!!

This is Caroline saying that me, Nicki and Callie are SUPER excited for homecoming! Our friend Melanie has rented a limo for all of us to ride to homecoming to and then to Millions of Milkshakes in Hollywood. I, for one, love Millions of Milkshakes. I like to make my own shake (chocolate, of course!) with chocolate chips, M&Ms, and Sno-Caps. I was actually the one to suggest it for homecoming since Melanie's never been. But we're not just excited about Millions of Milkshakes. We're excited for the dance, too! I'm wearing a purple 1950s-esque dress with lavender pumps. I plan to curl my hair and wear my special MAC makeup. (I only wear it to special events.) And, since the theme is 'Masquerade Ball', I have my own purple mask! I don't know what I'm going to do with it once I come to the dance, though. Now let me tell you what's brilliant: Callie bought a glittery red dress with red glittery UGGS to match. She plans to wear black tights with it so it looks unique. I didn't even know they had red glittery Uggs! I want a pair! Nicki is going for a Katy Perry-esque 'cotton candy' look for homecoming. Let me tell you, Nicki looks so good you could just eat her up! Haha. Just kidding. But not about the good-looking part! Oh, and guess what? This girl has a hot date!! He hung a banner over a set of lockers that my locker was in. It said, "Caroline, Homecoming?" Of course I said yes! Even though when it comes to guys, I could care less, because I have Hillrise. But Nicki and Callie are SO jealous. I don't even know what makes them so jealous. They're prettier than me! They could get whatever guys they wanted. I'm quite surprised no one has asked them yet. This week, we have 'Homecoming Week' at school where each day of the week is a dress-up day. Then, there's the pep rally on Thursday where we get to root for our class (GO, SOPHOMORES!) and wear our class color (ours is green). Also, our friend Lizzie Trilitt is the freshman homecoming princess! We're so proud of her. We'll post some pictures of us with her later! But I think she really deserved it because she was in a race with her horse that supported finding a cure for cancer. I don't even know how she does it. She's so good at riding horses-I am too scared to ride one! Although she said one day she would let me ride her horse, whom she says is very easy on beginners. She let Lizzie's friend Alisha Cothran ride her, and she's the squirmiest girl I know! Anyways, back to the topic here. We're counting down the days until homecoming night, which is next Saturday. I'll let you know how it goes!

A Day At Paradise Cove!!

So just yesterday I went to Paradise Cove with my friend Allison. Paradise Cove happens to be 20 minutes away from Hillrise. Being the little kids we are, Allison and I headed right for the tidepool. (Who doesn't love sticking their finger in a sea anemone?) I wanted to wear Caroline's white dress (which is perfect for this occasion) but she was at figure skating practice. You gotta love the girl, but who has figure skating practice on a Saturday?! And her mom is in no way letting me browse her closet when she's not home...so that didn't happen. Talk about disappointment. It was REALLY foggy outside, and we only had one jacket (I know, smart move) so whenever Allison wasn't taking pictures of me, we basically looked like Siamese twins from behind. Well, says Allison's little sister.

The tidepool was so big and I so small! We found a starfish!

After we took these, Allison and I snorkeled (we saw this HUGE fish and she thought it was a shark!) and ate at the restaurant. It was a lot of fun!

Happy Halloween To Us!

We just went shopping for our Halloween costumes this weekend! And our dear friend and neighor, Whitney, took pictures of us in her backyard! So we had a little photoshoot. I felt bad for Nicki since she was having a bad hair day. And I thought my hair was bad. If you're wondering what we are this year, I'm Sleeping Beauty, Caroline is a colonial girl, and Nicki is Princess Jasmine! So, without further ado, here are the pictures!

• I have been skydiving before! It's scary but fun.

All About Caroline!

Hi people! Since Nicki told you bloggers about herself, I'm thinking it's my turn! Here are a list of facts about me!

• I was born on July 11th, 1996 at 9:04 a.m. 
• My middle name is Kaitlyn.
• My favorite food is chocolate-covered anything!! I've eaten a chocolate-covered ant before! 
• I have a baby sister, Polly. She's cute but annoying because she cries a LOT. 
• I absolutely positively love the color green. I wear it at any chance I get!
• I'm a big-time ice skater. I've been on the ice for over ten years.
• I love going to carnivals/amusement parks. But I'm scared of rollercoasters.
• This one's a little obvious, but I really really REALLY favor Hillrise. I have so many adventures there!
• There are TWO master bedrooms in my house and I've got one of 'em! 
• Like Nicki and Callie, I am short. But I'm two inches taller than them at 5-foot-1. 
• I'm VERY talkative and friendly.
• I love slumber parties (maybe that's why I have them almost every weekend!!)

• Although I'm mainly in college prep classes and am taking one AP class, I hate school...well, the work load anyways...

All About Nicki!

Hi, it's Nicki! Callie wants me to tell the world of Blogger about myself. So that's what I will do! To start off, I was born on July 23, 1996 at 5:56 a.m. I have two sisters, Kasey and Melissa. Both are older and in college. (Well, except for Kasey, who is now 25 and owns a boutique two towns over.) My parents are the perfect example of a fairytale-in sixth grade, they got divorced, and Dad took me up north. Two years later, he comes back to Mom and they marry again. I am glad I'm back in Hillrise, but personally I don't believe this. My parents have been fighting for awhile, but not too long. I am a former gymnast and cheerleader (you won't believe the stunts I can pull off!) and my favorite food is Pinkberry! I'm in the tenth grade and am in-you won't believe this-an AP class with Callie and Caroline. We we we so smart!! (Sorry, I was trying to copy Rebecca Black there.) But believe me, that was NOT easy to accomplish. We had homework over the summer!!!! (It totally got in the way of our yearly stay at Pine Lake Camp, our sleepaway camp we've been going to for years and years!) But on the bright side, this will look good on a college application! Also, my real name is Nicoletta. Now here's something sad. I'm 15 years old and am 4 FOOT 11. According to my doctor, I may grow one more inch if any at all. Lucky Callie and Caroline are short with me. But I still don't know how I'm going to drive when I get my permit in January. And another thing. I can't believe I'm 15 already. I still feel 10. In fact, that end-of-elementary-school party that me, Callie and Caroline threw in our treehouse in fifth grade seems like yesterday. So does eighth grade graduation. My Hillrise, how time flies. Before I go, I should tell you what I look like. I am 4 foot 11 (I think you got that part), and 101 pounds. Yes, I know, I'm tiny. I have curly dark blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and about a BAZILLION freckles. Look for me when you're in Hillrise, I'll be on my street-usually at Callie or Caroline's house.

Our new BLOG!

Hi there, Callie here! We decided to start our own blog! So I decided to tell you about us! Here's how it all started: It was the year 1996, and it was a month and a half since my birth. My mom's best friend and next door neighbor had just brought home the newest edition to the Belloff family, who happened to be Nicki! She took me and my sister Elissa (she goes by Ellie) over to see her. According to my mom (and that trusty home video she recorded!) we bonded rather quickly. Almost every day since then, me and Nicki were having play-dates and going to the park together. Then once we reached school age, we got the news that we were in the same preschool and kindergarten classes! By the time first grade hit, me and Nicki were inseparable. Sadly, our elementary school failed to realize that and Nicki and I were placed in different first-grade classes. We were very lonely, but one day a brave little girl with red hair, blue eyes and freckles in Nicki's class came up to Nicki during class and showed her a picture she had drawn of her and Nicki. The little girl happened to be Caroline, who was invited to play with me and Nicki at recess, where I met her and played tag with her. Since that day, Caroline started being invited to me and Nicki's play-dates. Then, one day when we had a play-date at Caroline's house, we found out she lived in Hillrise too! (And on the same street as Nicki and I!) I remember a day in first grade when Caroline, Nicki and I climbed the GINORMOUS oak tree on our street and made a little club called 'Trailway Tree Friends'. (Trailway is our street's name.) Anyways, that's the story of the Winsome Threesome! We eventually met Melanie, Annalee and Elise and became 'The Hillrise Girls'. Well, that's what everyone at school called us. Hope you enjoyed our story!
